    Dapo Ajisafe

    Lead Tech Consultant & Developer

    Read bio

Dapo leads TaskOp's technical practice, turning digital health ideas into working products. He is a seasoned XR developer with over a decade spent engineering immersive experiences, building 3D environments and finding innovative ways to streamline workflows and ship digital tools people actually use. What makes that work land in health and non-profit settings is the background behind it: alongside the engineering, Dapo brings substantial healthcare experience spanning personal training, health consulting and recreation therapy, together with a Master of Public Health. He has applied that combination at the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario, where his interdisciplinary experience helps bridge the gap between health and technology to drive meaningful advancements. For TaskOp clients it translates into the digital side of our service list: digital health solutions, website development and support, patient and provider-facing platforms, and the technical analysis behind a program before anyone commits budget to it. He is as comfortable scoping a build with a clinical team as he is writing the code, and he designs for the people on the other end, helping organizations use technology to improve outcomes and support autonomy over personal health.

    Director of Operations

    Read bio

Samuel runs operations at TaskOp, which makes him the person who ensures what we promise is what gets delivered. He came to the role through commercial insurance underwriting, a discipline built on assessing risk accurately and pricing complex exposures before committing to them. Years of that work, grounded in a BA in Economics from McMaster University, shape how he approaches an engagement: scoping it honestly, matching the right expertise to each project, flagging what could go wrong early, and keeping programs moving from first conversation through to delivery. His background also covers sales, business development and macroeconomic research, alongside exposure to healthcare, which matters for a firm whose clients are mostly health institutions, patient organizations and non-profits working against real constraints on time and budget. Day to day he is the operational spine of a TaskOp project. He confirms scope and availability before we take work on, coordinates consultants across both fixed, project-based engagements and ongoing programs, and holds the schedule and the standards. Whether we work independently or integrate with a client's own team, Samuel is the one keeping the commitment realistic and the delivery on time.

    Critical Research & Operations

    Read bio

Pamela leads research and operations at TaskOp, and she came to the work for personal reasons. In the late 1990s her uncle died from avoidable and treatable complications of sickle cell disease, and that loss shaped a career built around healthcare quality, prevention and the patient voice. She has volunteered with the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario since 2008 and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada since 2012, taking on patient support research roles in both, where she developed and analysed surveys for patients and healthcare providers. Professionally she works in clinical research operations as a project manager, running the parts of a trial that decide whether patients can actually take part: recruitment and retention programs, reimbursement and compensation operations, and travel management for participants, across therapeutic areas including dermatology and neurology. During the pandemic she managed a phase II COVID-19 trial and helped create a free public health platform connecting people to more than 400 clinical trials. Her published work on retention found that most trial consultations never discuss it at all, raising real questions about informed consent. That is the rigour she brings to TaskOp engagements: protocol feasibility, research site and patient engagement, research ethics, focus group moderation and patient engagement strategy, all approached from the position that a study only works if the people in it are supported properly.

    Information & Client Care

    Read bio

Eqbal is often the first person a TaskOp client hears from, handling information requests and client care across our engagements. She has a deep passion for medicine and is planning to become a clinician-scientist, aiming to bridge clinical practice with academic research to advance medical science and patient care. Beyond her studies she is a dedicated advocate for health equity and advancement, and has hands-on experience in a placenta research lab. That grounding means questions about our health and patient engagement work reach someone who understands the subject, not just the calendar. Outside of her professional pursuits, Eqbal is driven by a broad scientific curiosity that extends into astronomy and theoretical physics.
